Veladya Chapman
Veladya Diana Chapman is a mother, entrepreneur and American actress best known for her role in the hit Broadway Musical National Tour, The Book of Mormon, as well as her popular Youtube channel, Veladya Organica.
Born in Fayetteville, NC and raised in Columbus, GA; Veladya left the small town life to acquire a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting & Musical Theatre from the prestigious, Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has also trained at the historic Rhodopi International Theatre Laboratory in Smolyan, Bulgaria where she became versed in Greek theatre styles, puppetry, mask work and Suzuki movement.
Veladya has worked in many aspects of the industry including web series', films, commercials and theatre. Some of her favorite projects include: Seven Guitars at Carnegie Mellon, Madame de Sade at Rhodopi International, GERTRUDE STEIN SAINTS! at the NYC Fringe Festival and the feature film Me & Earl & The Dying Girl where she joined an ensemble cast including Nick Offerman, Thomas Mann, Molly Shannon and Olivia Cooke under the direction of Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.
Veladya makes her home in Columbus, Georgia, where she builds her thriving herbal wellness brand, Veladya Organica, produces engaging content for social media, and actively pursues her passion for acting.
